Uno Extreme is fantastic. I recommend everyone buy this. I was bought it for Christmas last year and we played it with the whole family. The game length depends a lot on the number of people playing as we have had a game go on as long as 2 hours before. Unlike normal Uno, the players can end up with hundreds of cards in their hand and the person who is winning could quite easily lose in the end as the 'switch hand' cards mean no one is guaranteed to win or lose. We have found that this generally makes the younger children happy as they have as greater chance of winning as anyone else.
I would say it doesn't really matter what age a child is as long as they vaguely understand the rules they can have as much fun in the game as an adult.
