Vans California gum rubber outsole--it so money
They do rip quite easily but before you ever skate them just goo the stitching and you'll be rolling sweet.
I give Vans Geoff Rowley Classic Two thumbs up, and if I had more than two they would all be in the air. These are best shoes I've ever had. Classic stripe, classic styling, and most important the classic waffle. With any type of skating you can 100% rely on grip to keep your feet on the grip.
