Lots of padding, flexible cuffs, comfortable, good quality wheels and bearings, dual shock absorbers work well.
USF frames and soul plates wear down quite easily.
I was going to buy Vinnie Mintons, but I they didn't appeal to me, so I brought Salomon ST90-2 instead, and I am pleased about it. The initial thought when you first put these on is "Wow padded" and this makes the liner v comfortable. There was some cramp at first, but it soon went. The best thing about these blades is the bearings. As I had upgraded to them from Occults, and first tried them properly on a half pipe, it was quite a pleasant shock. These are also very comfortable even when you are jumping high stair sets, where I would have bailed before. The only problem is that the frames and soul nplates can ware down quite easily, but you can replace these. I would recommend these to anyone looking for street skates that are durable and not massive.
