Placebo, Without You I'm Nothing - This is Placebo's 2nd album and it still sounds great. It includes the slow, yet powerful Pure Morning which then follows into the heavy, favourite of mine "Brick S***house". Then we have the smooth, steady guitar work of "You Don't Care About Us" which carefully slows down into the soothing lyrics of "Ask For Answers", another favourite. Then it prepares the best song on the album, a fan favourite which includes David Bowie, the powerful "Without You I'm Nothing" which then nicely warms up for the beautifully wrote "Allergic (To Thoughts Of Mother Earth)".
The album then progresses to the slow, haunting "The Crawl" which moves into the energetic single "Every You Every Me". "My Sweet Prince," a slow song, moves into the bouncy "Summer's Gone". This then moves into the hard-hit "Scared Of Girls". The album then slows down again to prepare for the haunting "Burger Queen". There is a long silence until the hard, hidden track "Evil D****" comes in to finish the album, leaving you wanting more.
The album gets old after you have listened to it many times but it never loses its charm.
I would recommend this album to anyone to check them out or if you are just curious.
I hope this has helped.
