Duff Hart-Davis, Fauna Britannica: The Practical Guide to Wild and Domestic Creatures of Britain - I leafed through this title whilst browsing in a local bookshop. My initial enthusiasm waned when I found that although several native British breeds of livestock had been omitted from the book (notably Sussex cattle), some of the recent continental 'imports' had been included. I was so disgusted at this glaring error I returned the book to the shelf without further examination.
