General Comments

Villa Sibillini
Pam, David and Georgina were the perfect hosts and made us feel like family friends. They have a talent for making every guest feel special, very welcoming and helpful.

The food and wine were excellent and very different to the other local offerings and breakfast wonderful. The antipasta was to die for - so many different things but can't remember - only that it was all delicious. Our greatest pleasure was sitting on the restaurant terrace beside the pool overlooking the mountains with a few other guests and a lively party of Italians - we actually had the opportunity of watching birds of prey teaching their young to fly.

On our recent visit - this is our second trip - fields of sunflowers surround the hotel and they have included new soft furnishings, fabulous bed coverings & cushions, mosquito canopies which really made an impact on my wife. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed - unlike others we stayed in recently and what a great surprise to find power showers and not the usual dribble!

The location is just amazing - what a find, San Ginesio with its medieval walls and arches, has some amazing architecture and is named as a place of historic interest - we cannot understand how The Marche Region has remained a secret for so long, this place really does have everything. The square is closed to traffic in the evening during summer months to allow the cafe's overspill - what a great atmosphere. There are also very few tourists, so do take a phrase book.

Pam, David and Georgina have extensive knowledge of the area and recommended several other restaurants, including two great fish restaurants at the coast that gave us discount when we presented the Villa Sibillini business card. We met many Italians who were very welcoming and can't wait to visit again.
