Good Points

Excellent hospitality, Great food and wine, Views to die for, Relaxing, Very comfortable rooms and beds with mosquito canopies, Unexpected power showers

Difficult to get a table in the restuarant during July/August


General Comments

Wonderfully situated Villa Sibillini over looks the mountains. The hosts treated us to fantastic hospitality and made us feel very special - nothing was too much trouble. The food and wine were excellent and very different to other local restaurants - they only use locally grown or reared produce. Their breakfasts of fresh seasonal fruit and the biggest selection of pastries, plus of course great coffee was the most wonderful start to the day. Dinner consisting of 7 different dishes for antipasta, followed by risotto with porcini mushrooms and a cream sauce was enough, when the main meal of fillet of beef with a red wine salsa turned up - I was in heaven. My wife, who is vegetarian, was stunned at the vegetarian dish of the most enormous stuffed peppers, which was seasoned with fresh herbs from the garden. As you can gather we love our food!
The rooms were simply furnished and the bed had a fabulous cover with cushions plus a mosquito canopy - really comfortable, very clean and the greatest surprise of all was the power shower.
We've just booked again.
