High interest, and in my case, they put extra payments on after deal was finalised


General Comments

Recently bought a brand new car. The finance provided by GE Capital Woodchester was explained to me throughout in 36 payments. When everything was finalised i was shocked to learn that there were 37, the final payment being nearly 500 quid extra. The garage and the finance company got my bank details incorrect between them which is when i started to get threatening phone calls from the finance company. I spent at least a month ringing THEM to sort this problem out, which wasnt my fault, but i just knew it would come back on me if i didnt. Also, they bumped up the acceptance fee and the option fee AFTER i had signed all the paperwork. Be very careful
