Good Points

1.3 mega-pixels.
Varying quality resolution of pictures.
3X optical zoom.
2X digital zoom.
Excellent balance and ease of access to zoom controls.
Very easy to use, edit and delete frames.
Panoramic function.
Rapid sequence shooting.
Pop-up flash.
Several flash settings to avoid red-eye in different conditions.
LCD screen provides a very good clean image, although screen dulls down image.
Zoom function and navigation on LCD screen is added bonus.
Can use 'Unity ProPowerPak' with this camera, which reduces weight of it considerably.
Camera is extremely compact.


Bad Points

Image is dulled down slightly on LCD screen, but image is very crisp and clear.
Batteries do make this camera a little heavy.
Zoom lens cover is a little bit notchy on closing which could lead to damage of both itself and the lens.
Relatively slow download of pictures from camera to PC via serial cable.


General Comments

This is an amazing little camera, which provides 1.3 mega-pixels and several quality resolution formats which will allow over a hundred shots on a standard 8Mb SmartMedia card. The zoom lens is a nice element which provides upto 3X optical and 2X digital, for a total zoom of 6X, meaning less memory taken up for those distance shots. Camera is compact and very easy to use. Recommended add-ons for this camera would be a 32Mb Smartmedia card, a Flashpath Adapter for your 3.5" floppy drive, a respectable paintshop program, and PixMaker for producing scrolling 360 degree panoramic shots. Very impressive, at a very good price when bought within a package.
