Nice engine, great handling, nice interior finish
Rust, Rust and more Rust. Seams round doors are not sealed, water gathers and doors rust from in the inside out. Door seals came off in winter, fog lamp seals go and water gets in, engine control unit went (failed to start)
Bought the Mercedes Benz C Class C200 K Avantgarde estate car when it was two years old because it looked fantastic and with the Merc badge I thought this was great.
Started to worry after my bonnet and roof had to be resprayed due to stone ships rusting and spreading really quickly. Boot lid seams went first, then doors.
If you are planning on getting a C-Class be aware that the cars body work put 1970's Fiats to same.
Car handles well but drinks like a fish, so have deep wallets and the service costs are out of this planet. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
