General Comments

I applied for a Student Barclaycard Credit Card when I was still a student. In fact, the nice lady at the bank was pushing the idea to me, she said there should be no problem with my getting credit. I hate using them, but do like to have one just in case. So, I dutifully sent off an application - TWICE - and even though I was a postgraduate student with a decent job (teaching undergraduate tutorials three times a week), they did not approve me and never said why.

I don't think it was a credit issue as I have subsequently not had any problems getting a card.

Typical Barclays, they move in mysterious and incomprehensible ways.
