General Comments

This is my second view, I have been waiting for my rebates on my contract which was promised by the Mobile Republic. I haven't had any of these, and they continue to ignore my emails. I hope people all join in by contacting Watchdog here letting know exactly what cowboys these guys are.

    After almost 2 months... Mobile Republic have still not contacted me or given me any of the promised monthly rebates.

    I would like to expose this company for the cowboys they really are, if anyone is willing to help me contact me on the following email:
    anti_mobilerepublic@hotmail.com

    I am hoping to make an anti "mobile republic" website so to prevent others being lured in by these con-merchants.

    As we have freedom of speech in this country I would like as many people to help on this project, maybe this will see them change their ways. While it wouldn't replace this section of the reviewcentre.com website, it would add further pressure on the company to act lawfully and stop them tarnishing other honest & professional online vendors.

    Basically I'm in the same situation as others regarding the cash back of 30 pounds for 6 month and 15 there after has any one received the cash back? and how please help as I'm having extreme difficulties paying these bills.

    I have just received a letter from the official receiver. The Mobile Republic, Ltd., was wound up in June 2004. The letter more or less says those hoping for refund have no chance. My advice is to contact the phone company, in my case Singlepoint, and tell them what has happened and ask for their help. They might offer you credit.

    Hi there, sorry to bother you, it's just that I was on the Mobile Republic website and I came across your comments posted up there. I would just like to add that I feel the same way as you do about the company. I've feel let-down by the company and as I'm a mature student, I'm running into financial difficulties in trying to pay my monthly line rentals with a company (Vodafone) that is not the best of service providers.
    I signed up with The Mobile Republic in February 2004 and took up a contract with Codafone on the basis that the company would pay for my monthly rebates. I have yet to date heard or receieved nothing from the company and when I tried to get in contact with them over the phone, their call centre happened to be based in India. The people working in that call centre were not sufficiently trained to handle such queries, so I was transferred from one team leader to another.
    I was wondering if you had any solutions or could help in any such way possible.
