Good Points

The Junior Suites have an excellent location looking over the bay and Mount Etna. Breakfast is good and served on a very nice terrace.


Bad Points

No separate bar/bar area
Rooms need attention - ie broken blinds
Towels old and discoloured
Baby carriages in Reception


General Comments

The Villa Paradiso is a Four Star hotel. Why we have no idea. The staff were efficient although not particularly friendly. Our room was changed on request to a Junior Suite at a cost of 30 Euros extra per night. There was nothing in the room extra to denote a suite. It did have a balcony with and excellent view and two sun loungers, however the room was no different to any of the others.
We were very disappointed with the hotel, I think it is trading on a standard it cannot reach.
Towels that are totally discoloured and with holes are not what we expect of a 4 star hotel.
