General Comments

The Kodak CX6230 is my first digital cam, over the years I have used various conventional cameras 35mm SLR, compacts and recently APS.
Because I use a lot of my pictures on the computer and web sites I needed digital images, as scanning prints into the computer does not always give a good enough image.
I had been getting my processed film on Kodak Picture CD at time of processing, this was adding and extra £5 to the processing cost of every film, so I decided to get a digital.
Having a limited budget, I decided that I would settle for a camera with 2 million pixels.
After looking at various options, I decided to stick with Kodak, having owned various Kodak cameras over the years with no real problems.
I have found this camera easy to use and it has very good quality images, I would however agree with some of the other reviews that some of the buttons on the back are a little close together.
Battery consumption is high using normal AA batteries, but I invested £20 in a charger with a dozen Ni-MH rechargable batteries and now get at least fifty shots between battery charges (providing I do not review the pictures too often), with a 128Mb memory card and the spare batteries I have ample picture taking capacity for even the busiest day.

Anyone getting their first digital will find this a very good buy.
