General Comments

Having had a Nokia 6310i from my work for far too long, I invested in a Siemens SL55 mobile phone a few months ago. I bought it purely because of the size and style and have not been disappointed with it in those respects.

Connectivity is an issue - no bluetooth - but I bought a serial cable for the phone for about £10 which does the job fine.

Reception doesn't seem to be great - but this might be something to do with O2 as I haven't dealt with O2 before.

Battery life also isn't great, but it's not a massive issue to me to take the charger with me whenever I go away for a weekend.

As per other reviews, the phone has crashed on me (twice in the 3 months I've had it) - usually when loading a game - but it doesn't cause me a real problem to disconnect the battery and switch on again.

All in all, I'm happy with this phone, it has some bad points but no 'show stoppers.'

Buy it if you like a bit of style that will fit into your coin pocket of your jeans!

But if you want a fully featured, reliable, power efficient phone, it's not for you.
