Looks good


Bad Points

You have to be fit and active and like rock climbing. Built on a mountainside and there are heaps of stairs everywhere.
No porterage
Unhelpful staff
Poor swimming pool full of salt water
Shingle beach
Limited food at breakfast
3 star masquerading as 5 star
Smelly sewerage system
Smelly rooms
Excrement overflowing into rooms
Manager incompetent


General Comments

Wae arrived at Summer Palace Hotel at 11pm, There was no porterage, I had a broken finger due to football accident. We got Poor directions to room; It's like a maze in 3D. It took 40 mins to get to room. The room had excrement in it, it was smelly and full of flies, and it Overlooked communal toilets outside. There was no bed for a child as per booking and invoice. I went back to the receptionist.......another assault on Mount Everest........overworked with other arrivals....I waited 15 mins to explain problem. Over an hour for just a camp bed to arrive. By this time asleep on marble floor waving flies away. I Complained to manager. Saw Sunshine Holiday staff that were worse than useless. They ignored me and spoke to the manager first. I Got to stay in another hotel. There had to wait in reception whilst Sunshine Holiday Rep (useless) paid in cash. This had happened before and sunshine Holidays did not pay the bill. Now going through the Courts. This hotel total rubbish. If you paid £400 for it and are expecting 3 stars fair enough.
