Ridiculously inflated prices, poor customer relations.
This refers to the main Littlewoods Catalogue and Littlewoods.co.uk. I have no experience of the High Street Store. Prices are well above high steet levels for all items from clothing to electrical to household furniture. This is typical of many mail order catalogues - not just Littlewoods. Interest free credit periods are not really free as you pay with increased cost - wether you use the interest free period or not! Also beware should you ever miss a payment - even a few pounds arrears will see a hefty administration charge on your bill and your name will be off to a Credit Reference Agency. Great customer relations!! NOT. I've hardly bought a thing from them in almost a year as I can save up to 20%-25% buying elsewhere. Quality of goods, particularly clothes is sometimes rather suspect. I bought my daughter's school tights and cardigans from them last year within weeks the tights had gone at the seams and one cardigan had lost a number of buttons. There are so many better places to buy - don't waste your money!
