Crisp flat screen display, short tube, small footprint.

General Comments
The Philips 109B was bought after my old 20inch ctx monitor failed (tube). I wanted a big monitor but am limited for space so the 109B seemed the logical choice as it has the same tube space as a 15 inch monitor. The flat screen does away with most of the glare as the monitor sits under a skylight in my attic. The screen resolution can be set to 1920 x 1200 which is even better than my old ctx. The on screen menus for picture geometry are easy to follow and include adjust moire, degauss and a light frame mode which alters brightness and contrast (don't ask me what for). the price of the monitor was £249 bought in PC World but i have seen it mail order for £199.
