Good Points

It starts
It sometimes actually burns a CD for you.


Bad Points

Unreliable
Error messages that have no information.


General Comments

Where do I start with what is wrong with the Sony Sonic, first of all it starts up but very slow. Sometimes you have to restart you PC to start the application.

The interface views nice but is too basic. Not enough options.
Burning CD:
- It tells you that it can't fit 639 MB of data on a 700 MB disc.
- It randomly rejects CD's, even Sony ones. When you burning more than one CD just put in the rejected CD a few CD's later and it will be accepted.
- When burning more CD's with the same data the workings of the 'burn another one' is different every time you press it.
Burning DVD's:
- after checking the files and with 75% of the burning done you'll get an error saying actually nothing, just that there is a problem. CD lost and no clue how to solve it.

Sony should be ashamed to release their normally outstanding products like this.
