Bad Points

Unreliable, not user-friendly, eats tape, poor video quality.

General Comments

My parents bought this RCA CC6363 video camera for me on sale during the holidays. I assumed the price was due to a limited number of features, but as I soon came to find, it was due to the fact that it was a tape-eating, nearly inoperable, recalcitrant, piece of garbage. It ate the tape I made of my family reunion, and subsequent attempts at recording have yielded the same result. I should also note that this happened on its third use. If I ever buy another RCA product, it will be due to mental defect.

Lizzy (Elizabeth?) - You are most unfortunate. I've never heard of your particular booby and I wonder why you did not choose one of the bog-standard models from Canon, JVC, Samsung etc. etc. In the UK, such models are affordable by anyone but the desperately poor and I would think that in the USA they would be even cheaper. If you want to pay peanuts and you can find a second-hand Cannon E250 or a JVC GRAX-35, both of which I've had for 10 years and both still going strong, then you will obtain reasonable results. I know they will not come near the latest digital models but at the price you should pay you oughtn't to feel too deprived! I hope you get lucky Lizzy.
