Good Points

Great looks, superb picture quality cheaper than plasma.


Bad Points

Noisy fans drive me insane. Sound could be better. If you've got an amp though, it's no problem.


General Comments

I had two 42inch Plasma TV's and was disappointed with the picture quality, skin tones looked like melting plastic and ghosting was dreadful. Philips was the worst so I got my £3,500 back and bought the LG RE-44SZ20RD. Great TV but the noise of the fans is driving me nuts, suppose you have to make a trade off somewhere. Being a bit of an anorak I've put a 2inch brushed steel border round the outside edge of the screen, breaks up all that black, looks great.
