Good Points

Compact Design, easy installation

Bad Points

Software is awful, No Voice prompts, it is not possible to travel from street to street level in two seperate towns, or cities. Maps have to be loaded 1 at a time. I now use Tom Tom Navigator, which is how the Navman should be used.
The unit is difficult to use in car a seperate antenna would be better, with a proper fixing mount. The jacket makes it compact to use as a handheld unit however power drain is high.

General Comments

The jacket hardware is fine, although it would be better if it had a seperate antenna for the car. This forces the unit to be placed in the windscren, which blocks your view and makes it difficult to use. It would be nice if the unit had a plug in power point, this would save the use of a converter on the 38/39 series. The attached bracket sometimes falls off dropping your IPAQ. The provided software is so bad buy the new software from Tom Tom - it makes the Navman the perfect solution.

I had a look at Tom Tom on the basis of this review and have ordered the software. Hope that I have made the right decision! Jack
