Delivery of Honda Civic within ten days of entering the sales room.
Car would have been delivered within seven days but "someone" scratched the bodywork and the fault was remedied before delivery.
I had decided to purchase a diesel Honda Civic having had a Civic 1.4 petrol engine for three years from Alan Day Honda, Portsmouth. A discount was offered if the car was registered by 28th June. The new car performs excellently giving about 55mpg on combined trips. There are differences in the way the diesel engine operates compared with a diesel engine. I have usually accelerated away at lights but find that with the diesel engine there is a slight time delay before the rapid acceleration kicks in. The diesel is noisier but the car is very well insulated and it is not really noticeable. Overall a good experience, one to be recommended.
