General Comments

I got my BTC 52x32x52x CD Writer this about a year ago and it has never failed me once. Actually I have 2 of them. One for each computer of mine.

I got mine at Fry's electronics on the thanksgivings sale. It's original about $39.99 but I got mine for only $17.99 because it was on sale. The program that it came with was "Rixo Easy CD Creator 6." However, I don't like ez cd creator so I got Nero 6 Ultra instead. I am a computer expert and from my experience, Nero is much more powerful and easier to use than Ez cd creator. Anyways back to the burner. The installation was simple (just like any other CD drive) after installation I burned a test CD. The highest I have ever burn a CD was @ 48x. I can't seem to get 52x for some reason. But I'm happy with 48x. Takes less than 2 mins to burn a CD.

In my years of using this burner, I have only had 3 messed up CDs. It was not because of the burner, but more of my computer and the quality of the CD I used.

So all in all, this is an extremely good burner and I got it at a very good price.

I recommend this to anyone.

Oh yea, one more thing... most CD burners (not DVD burner)today are the same. The only reason why some are more expensive then others is the brand.
