Good Points

This is a pretty good gun for it's price,
*Accurate at 20 Meters,
*Light,
*Comes with Red Dot Sight,
*Pretty Powerful (420FPS131MS).

Bad Points

*All Plastic,
*very inaccurate open sights (use Red Dot sight),
*Loose Barrel,
*Choppy Single Action Trigger pull but predictable,
*Heavy and unpredictable double action trigger pull,
*Quite a bit of kick due to it's featherweight.

General Comments

The Crosman 1008B is a great gun when used with the red dot sight. Make sure you turn it off when not shooting because the battery life is terrible.
Once you get used to it, then it unleashes the bad boy in itself.

This is a great gun. Very accurate, nice handling, and very powerful for a CO2 pistol. The trigger can be hard to pull, but the hammer can be cocked, making it easier to pull. I like this gun for target shooting. I think the only bad thing about this gun it the kick. It kicks pretty good when fired.

I’ve had this pistol since the last four years and have had to fix the plastic sight (rear) cause I had dropped the gun, then I had to fix the cowl the thing that makes the magazine turn. I was lead through the operations by the Crosman staff though I live in India. The tragedy is that I can't lay my hands on Co2 regularly. Otherwise I love shooting this pistol, target shooting at ten yards single handed I can't get less than 2 inch groups. But cans are another matter. When I had crosman pellets I remember shooting through an aluminium lamp cover at about 15 yards.

I am waiting to attach a longer (11 inch) barrel then I'll try hunting with this pistol. I have noticed that it cracks louder than target pistols shooting at 550fps.

So that's my two cents worth. Lots of guys know how to up the power by attaching a rubber band on the hammer, so that the hammer falls faster.

To know more go through the Crosman board.
