Very good bright light pictures. Highest resolution (1024x768) at this price. Smallest at this resolution. Style. 50/60Hz sampling filter. Video feature. Non volatile memory.
Bad Points
No flash. Aperture only f4. Poor instructions. Simple 2 digit LCD.
General Comments
Pictures taken with this Jenoptik JD-C1300 digital camera in good lighting have been excellent. Low light conditions need quite long exposures due to no flash and small aperture (f4) - Mini tripod would be very useful.
Poor instructions and a simple 2 digit 88 style LCD creen have as yet prevented me from understanding exactly which modes I'm in at any one time. (Which modes are mutually exclusive?).
Camera works well when used to feed directly to PC - Power provided by USB connection.
Non volatile memory means no lost pictures when the batteries go flat.
Very small and stylish.
I am happy, given the low light limitations. Must conduct tests to figure out mode issues.
