General Comments

This Sony DCR-PC105E is a very competent digital camcorder. I wasnt expecting my videos to end up looking like a broadcast quality program but the results are more than acceptable. Taking video off the camera and onto the PC was quite easy but this will be reflected in your PC's spec. Although the camcorder itself should come with a cable. The touch screen menu interface make changing settings a doddle. The stills capability is boosted by the inclusion of a flash and the results will email but wouldn't make it into my photo album, but people who own a camcorder usually own a decent camera for that sort of stuff.

Having looked into it There are also a great set of accessories available. One of which I expect to get is a wide angle lens. Anyone who owns a camcorder can apreciate that you need a good bit of distance between yourself and the subject/s and lamps/lights/filters/batteries are all available.
