Can never get through to Telphone banking and staff are not very helpful within the bank.
I've had an account with Barclays since I was 13 but now I actually have to ask them for stuff at the end of my 2nd year, and take money out rather than always putting it in, I can't seem to get any help from them!! They have just changed their telephone system where you need a pass code for them to talk to you and as I had just moved house I couldn't find it so they asked me loads of questions (including card no, expiry date, mothers maiden name, my date of birth, my full name etc) which I answered then she asked me to name all my direct debits and when a specific direct debit went out and as my statements (the ones I have received-not very many) were all in the midst of my unpacking she wouldn't let me carry on and asked me to ring back once I'd found my statement!! As I had been on hold for about 10 mins before I spoke to her I was just a little infuriated! I have also ordered a cheque book which nobody sent to me and as of yet I have not received the other one I have ordered, and I asked for my statements to be sent to me monthly but they still turn up sporadically if at all! Now I'm looking for a new bank.
