Fast, looks good and sounds even better!
Few probs, but it's a car. You name one car that has never had any problems with it!!
I got my Clio 1.8 16v in Oct just after my Punto GT got stacked into by an old man on a roundabout. I'm not too bothered about that now beacuse the Punto is poo compared to the Clio. It is 1996 N Reg with only 47,000 miles on the clock. I have performance plugs and leads, piperx induction kit and a powerflow exhaust system and it sounds 100% amazing. Standard this car has 137bhp, 0-60mph in 7.7secs (stats from Renault themselves). Not sure what mine is now after the mods would like to find out at some point.
I'm thinking about getting the engine gas flowed and chipped cos I always want to go faster. (If anyone has done this then let me know the outcome, cheers).
Driving the car is great fun, realy invovling, helped by the sporty seats and handling, although in the wet the back end does skip out a little.
It is dark metallic red in colour, I am yet to do any mods to the outside, bodykit etc as i'm more interested in sorting the engine. Whats the point in a phat looking car that don't go as fast as it looks??!?!?!
Cheers for taking the time to read this, any comments then please post them as I am always interested to hear from other Clio 16v owners.
