Good Points

I cannot think of a good point to frontpage and I bought this as an absolute beginner. I guess there is a slight possibility of making a graphic in the composer or publishing something you need very quickly not that it will look good unless you change the "frontpage look."


Bad Points

Tons. I think that what is a nightmare to an "alleged" expert would be equally or more horrifying for someone of taste who is learning the whole "deal" (webmastering). I learned as time went by that I had a product I needed to replace that was my biggest lesson, not a good one from the standpoint of Frontpage. I am looking at the conventional wisdom of the so called "experts" now as well as some stuff from overseas I am trying through ZD.


General Comments

See above Bad points. The program has to be "accommodated" like many microsoft programs (proprietary). It's look is cheap, something like an AOL clone version they are using today for their "homepages" and if one doesn't have code to change just about everything (studying HTML now, also java harder) then it's sad to have to deal with lack of innovation and initiative on the part of a lackluster program for "suits" and people that just want their name in lights.

    Front Page is what you want it to be. If you are smart enough it allows database connectivity, with relative ease. I recommend it beginners or professionals that are not looking for a pretty interface, but want to get the job completed in a short time.
