General Comments

I bought a Daisy Grizzly 840 Air Rifle last year when I was 13. I didnt no much, thats why I had bought this rifle. I have killed several small birds, no gophers. I like this gun, but if Im ever gunna go hunting again I will probebly purchace a Beeman gh650 or an Crosman RM 422. So I dont have to finish the animal im shooting off. I am wondering what are the velocities of these 2 rfles.

I have the Crosman RM422. and the velocity is 495-520fps. with my 422 I can kill squirrels from 75feet in one shot. If I hit a rabbit at that distance with my RM422 the pellet goes right through and out the other side. the daisy grizzly should be good enough for killing squirrels and rabbits to. If you are about 20-30 feet.

No its garbage, but I can't kill a gopher, the velocities are 320fps but im pretty sure mine have droped because I can see the bb

I think the Grizzly cannot kill even a rat at 325pfs. Frankly, I don't like to kill. In fact, I am only a "soda can killer".

For hunting (small animals), I think you need to get a Crosman 1077 (Co2 powered) with 12 pellet clips. Or if you are confident enough, get a single shot like a Gamo Sporter 500 (750fps)… Well… I will be sorry for the Squirrels!
