I bought the Nikon Coolpix 2500 camera when it first came out and I loved it. Great pictures. The swivel is so great that I am very surprised that Nikon has not continued with the same frame but with more advanced technology. Taking a picture of yourself, with friends, is great with the swivel because you are able to center yourself on the viewfinder. Came in handy when traveling alone and taking self pics of me and Americas landmarks! I would love for this camera to keep the same swivel frame but have the technology/features of the Canon Powershot A4. Especially the new movie capturing technology of cameras to capture good video AND sound. (and have a large capacity CF card - some now store 3 gigs). I would recommend it as is for a great little inexpensive camera (especially on EBAY ~$25 vs $300 new) (You would want at least a 120 md CF card on the Coolpix 2500. If it had updated technology, I would rate it !#1! Compact size, same swivel frame, and updated tech... now that would be a good camera!
