    Good Points

    - Cheaper than chips!
    - Site is pretty much never down.
    - Emails wherever you are.

    Bad Points

    - Still get spam in-box even with junk e-mail set to exclusive and with all 10 free filters in place for the obvious.
    - Can get slow when busy.
    - Been around since internet was born so getting a unique user name becomes a bit hard.

    General Comments

MSN Hotmail - Can't overly argue with this, it's free, and accessible anywhere.
This was the first ever e-mail service I used and have never needed any other web based provider.
Granted the storage limit is a bit low, at 2MB, this doesn't bode too well for large image or sound files but I have found it an ample amount for my needs.
Hotmail, however, does give you the option for upgrading your account, the prices are yearly:
    - £14.99 gives you 10MB storage and a 3MB attachment limit.
    - £19.99, 25MB storage and a 10MB attachment limit.
    - £29.99, 50MB storage and a 15MB attachment limit.
    - £39.99, 100MB storage and a 20MB attachment limit.

There are only two problems I have found using Hotmail, they are opening a link:
Clicking a link opens a new browser and puts it in a Hotmail frame, dead frustrating when you only have a "click here" option and want to know the actual URL of the site.
Secondly, the junk mail issue. I have got mine set to exclusive and have all 10 filters in place for the obvious keywords but somehow there's one or two mails a week that still crop up in my Inbox - you can't have everything I suppose for free.

But it'll be interesting to see what hotmail do to respond to G-Mail and Yahoo.
G-Mail offers for free 1000 MB and Yahoo have just increased their storage to 100MB.

Let the email storage wars begin! - Not bad for the consumer, it's FREE!
