General Comments

Soltan Sun Lotion is essentially a Boots product which retails at a much lower price than many of the more well-known brands. The price is great and the product is pretty adequate, so long as you're using it here in Britain during our normal summer weather. I found that when the temperatures rose and I was very very hot that I had to reapply quite often - every couple of hours - rather than being able to leave it on most of the day like with some of the more expensive creams (like PreSun).

On the whole the smell is reasonable - I HATE the smell of sunscreen, but the texture is nasty. You rub it on, it goes on ok, but then you can just feel it on your skin the rest of the day. I also find that within 5 minutes of applying it's like a whole layer of fine dust and grit attaches itself to the sunscreen that never really absorbs.

Finally, make sure to read the instructions because they do say that you have to apply a good while BEFORE going into the sun because it takes some time to absorb and to start working.

Oh, and if you're using this in the water, it's not waterproof so reapply OFTEN!
