Lots of branches with helpful staff, very good internet banking service.
Bad Points
Phone banking, steer clear. Miserly interest rates on saving accounts and mini-cash ISAs
General Comments
HSBC Current Account - I've been with HSBC bank for well over 15 years. Their branch service is good and their internet banking site is the best that I currently use. If any one from Tesco PF is reading this, try and have a look at the HSBC site, it knocks your site for six!
HSBC phone banking is now partly based in India and there are language difficulties. I know why they moved it, to save money. Well pass this saving on to your customers in the form of more competitive interest rates!
HSBC is an excellent high street bank, I only wish theire interest rates for savers were a lot more attractive.
