An appalling product from a just as appalling company.

Servis M3015A - I would never recommend servis to anyone, especially this machine. It has been nothing short of a nightmare! I bought this machine in 2002 and after 1 year (just outside the gaurantee) the ballbearings had gone. Servis basically said it was my problem and refused to do anything and it was only Comet that agreed the product was not fit for the purpose for which it was designed and repaired it for me. Only 9 months later the machine came to a halt with a smell of burning rubber. This time the 'brains' of the computer had gone and it cost me practically the same as a new machine to repair. Stupidly I paid for it to be repaired, being reassured it should be ok now when less than 3 weeks later I had to call out another engineer who told me the ballbearings were going yet again. So after 2 1/2 years, 3 engineer callouts and the equivalent cost of 2 machines I am left with something I have been told is not now worth repairing and the prospect of having to buy a new machine in a few months. If you are considering Servis, then don't, and spend a little bit more money and get something from a different company.
