Good Points

Fun plinker, fairly accurate replica of Colt Python .357 magnum. A classic - the basic Crosman 357 has been around for almost 20 years now. Can be fitted with various optical sights. Pleasant trigger pull. 10 shot speed loader improvement over old 6 shot.

Bad Points

Decent, but not spectacular, build quality. Combination of zinc metal and plastic parts. Rear sight cheap and usually misaligned (i've had two).

General Comments

Thje Crosman 357-8 is a fun and powerful CO2 air pistol. Not too heavy, but has a decent heft to it. Much better than the Daisy powerline 44. This airgun should be thought of as a fun plinker and not as a target pistol. Good accuracy when fitted with scope.

Hmm....we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I've had both pistols, and had endless problems with the 357 because the barrel moves on the pivot, relative to the rest of the gun. The Powerline will hit a beer can at 30 metres (100ft) 5 times out of 5, and I personally feel it has a nicer trigger. But it's what you like, in the end....
