Super accurate, top quality fit and finish, easy handling, quiet, affordable, has metal trigger and trigger guard.
None.
I bought my Beeman R-7 .177 Air Rifle after purchasing and promptly returning two other "magnum" air rifles in the $200 range. The R-7, although not classed as a magnum, was about 50 bucks more but worth it all and then some. It's beautifully made and I can't believe how accurate this gun is. Simply put, it hits where you aim it. Last night I was in the garage at 20 feet splitting golf tees with it. Now granted, 20 feet is pretty close, but then again, a golf tee is only about the width of a .177 pellet. And I'm far from being a crack shot. The gun is light and incredibly easy to handle and easy to cock. It has the unmatched Rekord trigger system and the trigger and the trigger guard are both metal. The gun shoots very quietly, making it perfect for suburban backyard shooting without getting the cops called out on you by a paranoid neighbor. If you need to kill coyotes at 60 yards this is not your gun, as its velocity numbers are not considered to be "smashing." But if you primarily like to target shoot and plink, nothing else will even come close it terms of affordability, ease of use and just pure enjoyment. Highly recommended.
