Two swimming pools, excellent food, friendly staff, "Bungalow"-style apartments.
Can't think of anything to complain about.
Gouves, Marina Hotel - We would highly recommend this hotel. At first sight, from the entrance, it doesn't appear particularly attractive. However, inside is a different story. The single most attractive feature to us were the two pools. There is a central main pool where the music plays all day with the "animation" program. But set back at the Eastern end of the complex near the superior "bungalow" apartments is a second large pool ideal for children, and more peaceful for parents as well. All other aspects of the hotel were excellent as well, with a weekly barbeque and "Greek Night".
The hotel is separated from the flat sandy beach by the coast road which is fairly quiet with only light traffic (the main highway being further inland). A 10 minute walk takes you to the main shops and tavernas of Gouves.
We were so impressed that we returned for a second year to this hotel and enjoyed it even more than the first time.
