Great Live performance by Placebo. Awesome atmosphere. Great set-list, including Guest star Frank Black of the Pixies to play covers of 'Where is my Mind'? with Placebo. Finally, Brilliant documentary as well.
Not much wrong with this DVD, documentary could be longer I suppose.
Placebo produced one of the greatest live performances by a British band. In front of 16,000 sweaty French people, they poured out liquid gold songs, and by the time the band were on their final song with Frank Black playing with them, not even the UK's top frontman (alongside Grant Nicholas of Feeder and Matt Bellamy of Muse), wanted the night to end. All of the songs were great, and it is worth mentioning that they play a few old classics like 'Bionic' and 'Protect Me', but the new songs from their ground-breaking album 'Sleeping with Ghosts' like 'Bulletproof' which tears the arena apart with its explosive riff, and 'Bitter End' which just gets those heads banging. An awesome night, an awesome DVD for ALL rock fans. If you haven't given Placebo a try yet, you really are missing out because I guarantee that you will like at least some of their material.
