General Comments
Walshies bar / restraunt is located in Cala D'or, Mallorca and run by a family from Leicester. It is a typical Leicester bar with lots of Leicester football memorabilia.
A good point is if you sit back and watch the owner when he is working behind the bar you will realise that he knows pretty much everybody's name that goes in there! Remarkable that he can remember a face when they probably only see him about two weeks in one year.
The food is traditional English pub food and served with very good portions for a very affordable price.
Along with their big screen TV's you could never miss a thing from international football to Gaelic football, even Big Brother is shown here! The only thing is, some people may feel that they can't escape from England, but then that's everywhere in Malloraca.
The pub helps keep with the tradition that Cala D'or is a family resort and supplies parents with an area to 'dispose' of their children why they relax in a kiddies adventure playground, including a ball pool.
All in all the pub is very well maintained and very well run and if you do go to Malloraca, make sure you do go into there and say hello to Bob and Shaun!
