Good Points

Nice self-illuminated dial at night.
Boeing size rear spoiler
Standard Alloys were good
Seats were damn comfortable
Lux model came with CD player which was good
Standard sounds were good
Bonnet vents were ace
Karmaan bodykit was a real looker with side fins below the wing mirrors
Dump valve post mods is worth it -- get a baileys. Trust me.

Exhaust heared 10 miles away.


Bad Points

Disaster if that bodykit gets hit -- it's handmade and difficult to find a replacement.

Shoddy workmanship on a repair job can look really bad.


I bought a K reg Lux pacifica blue. Main issue was I had to modify the cossie to get any performance out of it as it is an old car. This sad fact is undeniable. So you end up sticking all sorts of coolers and hybrid turbos on it.
Pulled by police on several occassions even though i was driving slowly.


General Comments

I thought the Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a good car--- I had a few occassions with coolant pipes bursting after ripping it but then upgraded to Samco hoses.

Practicality is only a 7 score because your always worried that someone is going to hit it in a car park etc.

Reliability is high as it was thrashed to hell and back and only broke down twice due to heat build up and some coolant pipes burst.

Value for money high as it brings a smile to your face.

But be warned -- remember it is a trip down nostalga lane and you might be disappointed with the interior as it is not new.
