General Comments
Just picked up my new IBM T41 laptop after my Toshiba developed problems with the CD/DVD - that the Tosh engineer could not fix. The new IBM T41 is the ideal laptop for someone who does not want to carry a "desktop" replacement laptop (i.e. my Tosh) but does not want the convenience of an "ultra-portable" laptop. The battery life is excelent for its size (3 1/2 hrs) the pointing devies are excellent (both nipple and pad). The 14.1" screen provides excellent clarity and is easy on the eyes. The laptop comes with a small transformer with helps keep down weight. Noise is not a problem, even when worked hard (its v.quiet). All in all i can't recommend this laptop enough. Its the best of all worlds for the business man on the road (and the gameplayer with a built in ATI 9000 card)
