General Comments
We bought this Goodmans 289NS television as we wanted a larger screen at an affordable price. It was on offer at under £200! Has been a great TV, no problems at all and it's watched all day every day as my partner has satellite TV installed. Sounds like an ever larger television with excellent bass etc. controls, and you can watch in widescreen with the change of screen format size, or change from widescreen (DVD format) to zoom in so doesn't look so squashed on normal TV format 4:3.

We have a 289NS and it is fine except for one thing - we can't get it to work with our Sky remote control. This means that we can use the Sky control to change channels through the digibox but we also need the TV handset to adjust the volume. Not a major problem, but a bit irksome at times.

<br>We have tried to set the Sky handset using all the Goodmans codes that we know but still no luck. So if anyone knows one we could try, I'd love to hear from you.
