Good Points

Not a pocket sized camera, but with this type of 10x zoom capability, that can hardly be expected.
Hot shoe for external flash, seldom seen on other digital cameras
More functions to choose from then needed by most amateurs.

Bad Points

Manual not very complete. Must get better manual for complete directions on the internet. That one has 238 pages of instructions! But it can be printed out.
Requires quite a bit of studying to master every feature. Then, you better have a good memory to remember everything.

General Comments

I love this Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom digital camera. Let me say this right from the start. I bought a larger capacity memory card on eBay (256 mb) and can now forget of ever running out of memory. I just download what I want to have printed to the 16 mb card and go to the drug store to print out my prints for the album. With a 1280 resolution, which is plenty for me, I can take over 800 pictures! With the software I can optimize what I don't like and then load it back on my 16 mb spare card or put it into my photo software folder. The quality of the prints as well as the photos themselves is beyond reproach. I am having a ball with this little jewel. One feature, I also really appreciated, is the remote control. With this I can control when the camera triggers, rather than waiting until it shoots (just when you blink). Just make certain, that when the light is not quite bright and you take photos of people, that they don't move, because the automatic setting may be at wide aperture and low speed. That happens often inside a room where it's bright enough that the flash is not needed.
BTW, I bought it through eBay at a much better price than store price ($385.- vs. $449.-)
