General Comments
This Freecom FX50 DVD Writer can read and write DVD+R DVD-R DVD+RW DVD-RW and all cd media. I bought it to go with my laptop, and even with USB1.1 ports, it still writes DVD at 4x. I have had no problems with it, it makes no noise, its small enough not to be annoying. I really like it. A complete 4.7GB DVD can be written in about 40mins. It is completely plug and play, nothing to install. Some DVD writing software comes with it, but i already had nero, and so did not need the extra writing program. I believe it is now available in a 8x DVD writing version for the same price. Bit annoying for me, so it should be even better than i have said.
