General Comments

WARNING!! DO NOT RENT FROM Payless Car Rental!!! A reservation that was supposed to $203 for 8 days (5/21/04 - 5/29/04, became $400! when we went to pick it up. Trapped at an offsite lot, so we had to take it.

    Payless Orlando - what a horrible company. I waited 45 minutes in the hot Florida sun for the pickup van while we watched vans from other car rental companies make two or three trips during that same time. When it finally arrived the driver was borderline rude. Then when we got to the office he was counting his money like he expected a tip. Hey, I got a tip for 'ya, don't keep your customers waiting for 45 mins.

    Once we got there the people at the counter were too busy talking to each other to wait on me. After they finally decided to acknowledge my existance I got the "hard sell" on some goofy "loss of use" insurance. This is some new dodge where they actually expect you to pay for days their vehicle is out of service if it has an accident. I think this is what the insurance company pays for bucko.

    What a bunch of losers. Place could use a good cleaning too, they must not care how their office looks.
