Good Points

Gorgeous ship, elegant, equal to the most luxurious hotel anywhere. Ship's staff wonderfully trained, friendly.


Bad Points

No bad points for ship. Pre-board and post-board organization is poor. Customer service after disembarking is non-existant, luggage sorting/unloading is horrible. Felt their port staff just wanted us off ship, and we had airline tickets, everything, reserved through Princess. Pack light & carry your own luggage when disembarking. You may not miss your flight out of Seattle as we did, looking for our baggage among the other 2000+ passengers.


General Comments

Princess Cruises, Diamond Princess - Unfortunately we were on the cruise that had a problem in Victoria. High winds blew the ship against the wall & was damaged in port. We returned to Seattle at reduced speed, because of the damaged rudder. Announcement was made that those whose flights had been booked through Princess had been re-scheduled. This wasn't true, we missed our flight & had to book our own flights back home.
