★★★☆☆

Good Points
Wide range of artists with little repetition.

Bad Points
Not all Salsa: some Cha and Mambo
Some artisits too obscure, some too well-known
Lacking popular but not readily accessible artists

General Comments
Some artisits too obscure (eg, Charlie Palmieri, Somos 21)

Some too well-known (eg, Tito Puente & Celia Cruz)

Popular but less accessible artists: Los Van Van; Spanish Harlem Orchestra; Fruko Y Sus Tesos; El Gran Banda; Fania All Stars; Joe Arroyo . . . the list is too long.

Finally, as a hard-core Salsa dancer, my average rating for the tracks was about 2.5 Stars (/5), with La Murga rating highest at 4. At best, this is an Introductory CD, not an outstanding representation of Salsa Dance.
