Good Points

Excellent comfort, the car feels very solid and feels like a lot of time and effort has gone into the making. Good fuel consumption for a 2.0 although it is not as fast as most 2.0 ....????


Bad Points

The taction control can sometimes be a pain at the lights, in bad weather or on a hill, when it cuts in the revs go down to 2k and it feels like the car is strugling.....


General Comments

I have had my Ford Focus 2.0 16v Zetec ESP for about 6 months now and I have to say that it is a fantastic car! when I first drove it it didn't feel much quicker than my mates 1.6 Saxo vtr, which it isn't 0-60 (but he has it chipped and so it probley is quicker than a standard one :-?) but that is not where the power is, the real fun is beyond 60mph, it realy does go some but you have to drive it very hard. Limiter as at about 7k but you can get "about" 80mph out of third which is nice. The stock car does 0-60 in 9.2 on paper, I have k&n and a full exhaust system on mine so I suppose mine would do it in about 8.8??. So its not a road rocket but it has a very high fun factor ! Now lets talk about this cars strong point......the handling....!!!!WOW!!!!

This car has seriously good handling in all wheather conditions, mine is lowered on 35mm springs and has a set of 205/40/17's on it. I have never once felt in danger in this car, it seems to just stick to the road in every situation. The esp is very good in when you are about to loose it on a corner it kicks in takes and control and puts you back in line, its an incredible piece of tecnology. But if you drive it this way then it will eat front tyres !!!! hey its all fun. Inside the car is very nice. Nice seats air con and a pretty good sound install as well (cd player and six speaker system). Passengers say how nice it is in the back as well.

If you get a focus you'll have to mod it to make it stand out from the crowd because every sods got one, induction and zorst work well and really make it scream, mine is very loud
